This policy applies to the LatheCalc Pro application on iOS and its related features, including but not limited to tangency point calculation, thread calculation, tolerance calculation, surface speed/RPM conversion, chamfer calculation, taper calculation, as well as history, favorites, and settings.

We do not collect any personally identifiable information.
Specifically, the App:
- Does not require account registration or login;
- Does not collect name, email, phone number, location, device identifiers, or other personal data;
- Does not collect, upload, or share your calculation inputs, history, favorites, or process parameters with any third party;
- Does not build user profiles or behavioral analytics through the App.
3. Data Stored Locally
To provide core functionality, the App may store the following data locally on your device only:
- Calculation parameters and results you enter;
- History records and favorites;
- App preferences such as language, appearance theme, unit system, and coordinate mode.
This data is stored only on your iPhone or iPad, managed by iOS local storage mechanisms. We cannot access, read, or export this data. When you uninstall the App, related local data is removed according to iOS system behavior.
4. Third-Party SDKs, Analytics, and Advertising
The App does not use any third-party SDKs for analytics, tracking, or advertising.
- No third-party analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics);
- No advertising SDKs or third-party ads;
- No social sharing or third-party login SDKs;
- We do not sell, rent, or trade user information to third parties (because we do not collect such information).
5. Network and Data Transmission
Core App features work fully offline. Standard data and calculation engines are built into the App. Using these features does not require an internet connection.
If you voluntarily open external links (e.g., this privacy policy page, the support page, or the App Store) in a browser, that access is governed by the respective website's or Apple's privacy policies, and is separate from the App's data practices.
6. Permissions
The App does not request access to contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location, health data, or other sensitive system permissions. If a future version requires new permissions for a feature, we will explain the purpose in the App and update this policy accordingly.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for general users and is not directed at children under 13. Because we do not collect personal data, we do not knowingly collect children's personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have handled information inappropriately through other channels, please contact us using the details below.
8. Data Security
Your calculation data is stored locally on your device. Security relies primarily on iOS device encryption and access controls. We recommend setting a passcode or Face ID / Touch ID and keeping your device secure to prevent unauthorized access to locally stored data.
9. Your Rights
Because we do not collect or store your personal data, we typically do not need to process access, correction, or deletion requests for such data.
You can manage local data at any time by:
- Deleting history or favorites within the App;
- Clearing App data in iOS Settings or uninstalling the App.
